Free was an exhibition at the New Museum of Contemporay Art, curated by Lauren Cornell, that explored how the internet has fundamentally changed our landscape of information and our notion of public space.
Lauren decided that the accompanying exhibition catalog for Free would exist for free on the internet, as opposed to a traditional print catalog. John Michael Boling and I conceptualized, designed, and developed the digital catalog.
Kyle Chayka reviewed the catalog and praised it as “an exemplary case for simplicity in the online presentation of exhibitions”.
