Is The L Train Fucked?

Copycats in other cities
I used to ask myself one question every day: "Is the L train fucked?"
And then one day I took matters into my own hands. I created this single serving site to let New Yorkers know if the L train was running. It uses the MTA's API to provide info in real-time. When it came out it hit a nerve amongst New York commuters and people went pretty nuts for it. Many years later it still has a consistent following and now is complimented by an iOS app.
